Personal Reflection on Images

Images often can demonstrate a sense of the current environmental’s situation of an incident. 9/11 was a global event; not all people were involved in the attack. Unsurprisingly, some of us were not even born yet. Using myself as an example, I was born two years after 9/11, so writing about 9/11 could be a challenge for me. I can only observe and assume from online video footage or images. The unbelievable incident of 9/11 shattered people's lives, like the stock and currency market. The pictures that I have presented above are tied to the flow of stock and currency in the financial news market of 9/11. During the process of finding images, I have considered that due to 9/11 being a global event, it should include an image with the globe while it indicates the news is flowing globally. Besides the currency of 9/11, I wanted to draw on the Twin tower and banknote to present a sense of how a single piece of paper or sign could cause a butterfly effect in the financial news market. Along with the images of Wall Street and the re-opening of the exchange centre, I want to show the decline of the stock market along with the reopening of how people are trying to make an effort to let things rise back.
